Starter batteries contain lead and must therefore not be disposed of with household waste. We will issue you with a deposit voucher for this purpose. Our battery prices therefore include the deposit.
Return/refund of the deposit value
Because of the Hazardous Goods Ordinance, it is not possible to return the old battery in shipping. For this reason, we offer you two options for refunding the deposit value:
When you return the used battery and the deposit voucher to our branch in connection route 23 in Halstenbek, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Alternatively, you can return the old battery to a municipal collection point, have the deposit voucher stamped there and send it to us by post. In both cases we will refund the deposit.
