The REMA® DIN connectors meet the current requirements of users and manufacturers in the field of materials handling technology and also significantly exceed the requirements of the national standard DIN 43589 and the European EN 1175-1.

REMA® DIN plugs and socket-outlets are characterised by their special features:
- High current carrying capacity up to 50% above rated current
- A simple design with robust contact design
- Acid resistant material with high temperature resistance
- Optional air duct for electrolyte circulation during charging
- Use of pure E-Cu copper according to DIN 40500 for the contacts
- Differentiation possibility between dry and wet battery by coloured coding pins (green = dry, grey = wet, yellow = universal)
