EnerSys® Outstanding EON Technology® further extends the technological leadership of the PowerSafe® SBS® battery series: All typical advantages based on EnerSys pure lead technology (TPPL) have been retained unchanged, such as long life, high energy density and superior shelf life. In addition, PowerSafe® SBS cells and Monoblock batteries with EON technology now show exceptional cycle stability in float charge and fast charge applications, even at high ambient temperatures and in hard applications.

Conventional VRLA AGM batteries are often unsuitable for harsh operating conditions and frequent power failures, while the PowerSafe SBS 2 V and 12 V batteries with EON technology are an ideal solution for such challenging operating conditions in modern telecommunications networks. Due to the specific characteristics of PowerSafe SBS EON technology, the SBS B14 - 900 are also suitable for large UPS and off-grid energy storage applications.

The PowerSafe SBS battery range with EON technology is available in different configurations: the front terminal versions SBS B14 - 190F, which allow easy and quick installation and inspection, the classic SBS 410 with Top Terminal and the SBS 320 - 900 range, which offer industry-leading capacities (up to 900 Ah) in OPzV DIN vessels. When high energy density and performance as well as proven reliability are required, there is no better alternative to PowerSafe SBS EON technology.

- Positive electrode: pure lead lattice, manufactured according to unique process
- Negative electrode: optimum adaptation to the positive electrode results in maximum efficiency of recombination
- Separation: microporous glass fleece guarantees highest absorption and stability
- Housing material: impact- and vibration-resistant plastic, flame retardant according to UL94 V-0 (J types in PPO, all others in ABS plastic)
- Electrolyte: high-quality diluted sulphuric acid, absorbed in AGM separator
- pole version: patented double-sealing pole bushing
- Cell valve: self-regulating safety valve, reliably prevents oxygen ingress
