The OPzS sun power VL batteries are closed stationary lead batteries with liquid electrolyte (diluted sulfuric acid).

OPzS sun power VL batteries offer an extremely long cycle life in their design as cells with positive tube plates. This is achieved by the all-round protection of the active mass through the polyester pockets. Batteries with tube plates are therefore ideally suited for solar or off-grid applications with high charging and discharging loads, especially during operation in the PSoC.

It is recommended to equip HOPPECKE OPzS sun power VL single cells with the HOPPECKE AquaGen recombination system in order to reduce the number of water refill intervals to a minimum and thus significantly reduce maintenance costs. When OPzS solar. Power single cells are operated with AquaGen recombinators, the water refill intervals are extended until they are maintenance-free.

HOPPECKE batteries of the OPzS sun power VL series have a cycle suitability of up to 1500 cycles at 80 % discharge depth.
