PowerSafe® OPzS Single cells from EnerSys® are sealed lead-acid batteries that are particularly suitable for stationary applications with the highest requirements for safety and reliability. The optimized plate geometry and the use of the tube plate ensure high cycle stability and a long service life. The capacity requirements according to DIN are far exceeded.

- Positive electrode: Die-cast tube plate with low antimony lead alloy for long service life
- Negative electrode: pasted grid plate, optimum matching to the positive electrode guarantees maximum performance
- Separation: microporous separator
- Housing material: styrene acrylonitrile (SAN), impact-resistant, crystal clear, with electrolyte level mark
- Cell lid: made of ABS, glued electrolyte-tight with box
- The electrolyte is diluted sulphuric acid with a density of 1240+ / -0.010 at 20ºC, for a fully charged cell
- Pole design: electrolyte-tight pole with brass insert for minimum resistance and good current conductivity
- Cell plug: Safety stopper with frit to prevent backfire, optional ceramic funnel stopper allows water topping up and maintenance without removing the stopper
- Connector: solid copper connector (30 x 3 mm), screw type, insulated, voltage measurement possible
