OGi bloc lead / block battery OGi bloc 6V 174Ah (C10)

The OGi bloc batteries are closed stationary lead batteries with liquid electrolyte (diluted sulphuric acid).

Batteries of the OGi bloc series are batteries with positive grid plate. The special feature of this series is the pocketing of the negative plates. This protects the active ground and effectively prevents short circuits. Main areas of application of the OGi bloc product series are safety lighting systems, as batteries for starting diesel engines, UPS systems and other industrial applications.

It is recommended to equip Hoppecke OGi bloc batteries with the Hoppecke AquaGen® recombination system in order to reduce the number of water refill intervals to a minimum and thus significantly reduce maintenance costs. When operating the OGi bloc batteries with AquaGen recombinators, the water refill intervals are extended to maintenance-free intervals.

The block batteries of the OGi bloc series have a service life expectancy of up to 15 years.
